Organizations around the globe are driving climate action.

The United Nations Climate Change secretariat invites organizations to take the Climate Neutral Now Pledge. The pledge represents a growing movement of companies and governments taking the lead on reducing emissions and accelerating the global journey to a climate-neutral future.

Organizations that take the pledge commit to:

  1.  Measure and report their greenhouse gas emissions
  2.  Reduce their greenhouse gas emissions as much as possible
  3.  Offset remaining emissions with UN Certified Emission Reductions (CERs).
"Each one of us, as well as every organisation, fcm_rgbf_s-jpeg.jpg
has to take responsibility for the world we live in
and lead by example. By joining the Climate Neutral Now campaign, we pledge to continue to strive towards becoming gree
nhouse gas emissions neutral by the mid-21st century. We also commit, as we did in Brazil in 2014, to measuring, reducing and offsetting our greenhouse gas emissions at the next edition of the FIFA World Cup, scheduled to take place in Russia in 2018. Beyond that and through the power of football, we also aim to inspore greater awareness and best practices in sustainability standards."

Ms Fatma Samba Diouf Samoura, Secretary General, FIFA

The Amendment will phase down hydrofluorocarbons under the Montreal Protocol, helping to avoid up to 0.5 degree Celsius of global warming by 2100, while continuing to protect the ozone layer. This accomplishment inspires us to work even more towards climate neutrality by joining other UN organizations in offsetting emissions associated with our meetings and operations, as we do every year."

Ozone Secretariat

Organizations of all sizes play an important role in achieving climate neutrality. The following organizations have measured their greenhouse gas emissions, implemented actions to reduce them, and offset the unavoidable remaining part to go climate neutral!
